Zoran's
over 40-year long career includes both corporate and academic experience. It encompasses national and international managerial (general, project and ICT-related) experience, as well as extensive consulting, research and teaching experience.

  • External examiner and moderator at the South African and overseas universities
 For his research contribution Zoran was awarded a “Research Publication Award” as an Established Researcher with the most Outstanding Research Publication Record in the Economic and Management Sciences Faculty (UWC) in the 2010 academic year.
NeSPA As a result of his involvement in the development of e-skills in South Africa, he was honoured to be the leading author of the highest National policy document in this field: the National e-Skills Plan of Action - NeSPA 2010. NeSPA 2013 

Dr Mitrovic has  drafted the National e-Skills Plan of Action – NeSPA 2013, which was approved by the delegates of the 2nd e-Skills Summit and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) recent Global IT Forum on Human Capacity Development, held in Cape Town, 22-25 October, 2012.
